Jerry B. Partlow
Jerry B. Partlow, President and founder of The Partlow Insurance Agency, Inc. has more than 20 years of experience in commercial insurance. Partlow is a former owner of J.V. Arthur, Inc. which was one of Virginia's largest and most respected insurance Agencies for nearly a century. Partlow is committed to building the Partlow Insurance Agency with the same principles and qualities that proved to be so successful for J.V. Arthur, Inc. in the past.

Jerry Partlow is recognized nationally for his innovative designs and developments of Association related Insurance Program. He has longstanding relationships with NAPSEC (National Association of Private Special Education Centers) in Washington, D.C.; VAISEF (Virginia Association of Independent Special Education Facilities) in Virginia; and ASAH (Association of Schools and Agencies for the Handicapped) in New Jersey. He is also a recognized expert in malpractice insurance and related services for the medical industry.

In additional to his insurance experience, Jerry Partlow served on the Winchester City Council for three terms, 12 years. While on City Council he chaired the finance committee, the social service committee and the education committee. He has also served and continues to serve on numerous nonprofit boards of directors.


Michael D. Partlow
Michael Partlow serves as the Vice President of Partlow Insurance Agency. He works primarily in the commercial lines and group benefits divisions. Michael has been in the insurance business since he graduated from the College of William and Mary in the spring of 2000. At William and Mary, Partlow obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in finance and was a member of the football team. He started his career with American Express Financial Advisors in Richmond, VA before coming to Partlow Insurance in May of 2001.

In his free time, Michael coaches a little league football team in the Winchester/Frederick County Youth Football program. Michael is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Independent Insurance Agents of Virginia and serves on several committees with the organization.
